The Jamis Aurora Elite is built for the journey, with a classic Reynolds steel frame and a host of confidence-inspiring touring-specific components. Jamis' Size Specific Tubing puts strength where you need it while maintaining compliance over rough roads, and allows for serious load-handling capability — up to 80 lbs! A Shimano 105 3x9 drivetrain with barend shifters keeps things simple and reliable and provides a massive gear range, and TRP HYRD disc brakes give you all-conditions stopping power. Of course, the Aurora is loaded with eyelets and rack and fender mounts galore to provide a stable hauling platform and even includes a rear rack and full-coverage fenders to get you started. Finally, all-purpose 700 x 32c Clement XPlor tires and sturdy double-wall Mavic rims provide the smooth and fast ride you'll enjoy as you pedal on toward the horizon.
