The natural progression of mountain biking has led to more aggressive trails. As such, riders want a trail bike with more travel, larger tires, extra stability, and more opportunities for customization. The Orbea Occam checks all the boxes—it’s more aggressive with longer travel, and comes with sturdier tires and wider rims. The frame design utilizes Orbea’s unique Advanced Dynamics development. This process transforms virtual models into real, highly-refined machines—bikes for demanding riders that are faster, more fun to ride, and far beyond ordinary.

The Occam AM steps up to 150mm travel with a slacker 66.5-deg head angle and wider rims, making even the toughest terrain faster and more fun. The Fox DPX2 shock offers sophisticated damping that you'll appreciate when railing technical sections or sending it big. Taking advantage of the unique properties of carbon fiber, Orbea has done away with the pivot point at the rear axle, saving over 140g. This flexible seatstay design creates an ultralight bike that requires little maintenance and offers stiffness and acceleration like you’ve never felt in a full suspension bike. Consistent and proportional stack and reach measurements guarantee that every rider experiences the same flawless handling. On the trail, the Occam AM is precise and responsive with short 435mm chainstays and the excellent rigidity of a 12mm through-axle system. Utilizing Boost standard widens the rear axle spacing which increases the space available at the bottom bracket. This results in room for wider tires, a stiffer bottom bracket juncture, and wider hubs for a stronger wheel. Adding up to a svelte, fun, and fast bike, the Occam AM is ready when the trail gets bigger.
