Discover new adventures the way you like—aboard a fun and capable machine that simultaneously enhances your skills and extends your range. Conquer steep climbs and then push the limits of traction and good judgment on the way back down. Enjoy the progressive design and optimized suspension kinematics that allow you to simply focus on the trail ahead. The Orbea Wild FS revitalizes your riding and helps you chart new destinations. Take back control—Take back your Wild.
The Wild is a different kind of full-suspension mountain bike—one that promises to elevate your riding with the advantage of an electric drive system. The frame features 7000-series hydroformed aluminum with sophisticated shaping that adds reinforcement only where it’s needed, thereby reducing the overall amount of materials used. The geometry is tuned for eMTB riding with short chainstays and an upright trail position, and pulls double duty with clearance for 29-inch and 27.5-inch plus wheels. The frame is well protected from hard riding, with a metal armor skid plate covering the motor and wrapping on the driveside chainstay to guard against chain slap. Add 140mm of trail-conquering suspension from Fox for unrivaled performance and all-mountain capability. The suspension is optimized for the widest range of riding conditions, with high-quality sealed cartridge pivot bearings that increase small bump sensitivity as well as add durability for bigger hits. Orbea outfitted the Wild with components that are ideal for the rigors of eMTB use, including wide bars for added control and a 35mm stem interface for increased stiffness and strength. Stronger wheels with larger brake rotors and eMTB-specific tires with reinforced casings are used as well—these hold up to the added forces and greater momentum experienced as a result of higher speeds and increased weight.
The Shimano STEPS E8000 drive system is the lightest and most compact motor on the market at a whopping 250W output. The E8010 battery has proven reliability and the convenience of being easy to install, remove, and transport. It integrates smoothly with the frame shapes for great protection and a sleek appearance, with tool-less access and a highly protected, rubber shielded charging port. The drive system’s compact display fits easily with other controls on the handlebars and features Bluetooth/ant+ compatibility for convenient wireless customization.
